  • Toyota wanted to create a custom audio spot for the all new Corolla Cross, leveraging the themes explored in Spotify’s musical analysis podcast Dissect and featuring the tagline: “When everything just feels right, that’s the first ever Toyota Corolla Cross.”

  • If you’ve ever been on a road trip with friends or family, you know it can be hard to get everyone on the same page. In this spot, four friends pile into a Toyota Corolla Cross for a day of exploration. As soon as the doors close and the seatbelts click, they agree on everything: what music to listen to, where to eat, and ultimately, where they’re going. Because when everything just feels right…that’s the first ever Toyota Corolla Cross.

    I created the concept, wrote the script, casted & directed the voice talent, captured the audio, cut the tape and oversaw post.

    The spot features custom sound design, immersive SFX and conversational voiceover. The result is a fun, authentic and audio-driven expression of Toyota’s brand identity and campaign goals.
